Have you been out to visit us at our Palomarin Field Station? It's located at the southern end of the Point Reyes National Seashore just outside the hamlet of Bolinas. It's one of our founding field stations where we've been studying birds, weather, plants, and overall ecology since 1966, and it's still a thriving science and training program.
Palomarin is open to drop-in and scheduled visits from anyone, year-round. Come see science in action, a bird in the hand up close, and a world class early career training program all while learning about the role of science in understanding and protecting the planet.
It's about an hour from most places and it's best to stop by in the morning hours.
