Julie Chase Baldocchi

Development Chair

Julie Chase Baldocchi for the past 21 years is the co owner and V.P. of Pacific Nurseries, a wholesale plant nursery serving northern and southern San Francisco bay area regions. She has her Bachelor of Arts from Brooks Institute of Photography. After graduating she ran a commercial photography studio for over 15 years working with clients from Apple Computer, Pacific Bell, Informix, and Octel. Actively involved in her families cattle operation for the last 30 years, her fine art and editorial photographic work focused on portraits of working California family ranches. One of her ranching passions is implementing Allan Savory’s practice of holistic management with the goal of restoring and regenerating grassland and modeling this method to other ranchers as a “best practice”. She has actively served as a board member for Marin CASA; committee member for numerous NRDC fundraising events; 14 years with Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy Trails Forever Committee; 6 years as Committee Member and Co-chair of the San Francisco Botanical Garden Society Gala Events; and 8 years as a Marin Country Day School Parent Board member. Presently she is a volunteer with National Ski Patrol at Alpine Meadows/Squaw Valley.
