Amanda Reardan

Restoration Technician

As a STRAW Restoration Technician with Point Blue, I am excited to contribute to the conservation and restoration of public and private lands within Sonoma County. My role includes restoring and maintaining habitat alongside volunteers and local students. I love sharing my passion for the environment and am grateful for the opportunity to help inspire our students and volunteers to care for and learn about the natural world around them.

In the spring of 2024, I completed a B.S in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems as well as a B.A in Spanish from UC Davis. Throughout my years in college, I held various jobs in the agriculture and conservation realms including working at the UC Davis Student Farm, Yellowstone National Park, and the John Muir Trail Wilderness Conservancy. I am ecstatic about being part of the Point Blue team and achieving my goal of working to protect our beautiful natural lands and resources.

I am originally from a small town in Mendocino county and am looking forward to better acquainting myself with Sonoma County. I spend much of my free time outdoors with my camera while hiking, backpacking, going on adventures with friends and family, or caring for my ever-growing houseplant collection. Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn!
