Laura Robison

Partner Biologist Petaluma

As a Working Lands Partner Biologist in Sonoma and Marin counties, I partner with landowners, conservation organizations, and agencies to design and implement projects that promote both ecological health and agricultural sustainability. Our network of Partner Biologists works alongside the USDA’s Natural Resource Conservation Service to help people help the land. Through our Rangeland Monitoring Network, we collect data on soils, vegetation, and birds to advance our knowledge of rangeland ecology in California.

With a background in rangeland management, habitat restoration, and wildlife biology, I hold a Master’s degree from Montana State University. I have worked on a diverse range of projects across the Western United States focused on conserving songbird populations, studying sage grouse habitat, restoring montane meadows, and managing water resources. Through these projects, I have developed a passion for restoration, riparian systems, and land stewardship that I bring to my work at Point Blue.

Outside of work, I am an outdoor enthusiast with a passion for food. Always up for a picnic or an adventure, I enjoy biking, trail running, and taking refreshing dips in lakes and streams.
