737 Aberdeen Road, Novato, CA
Volunteer with Save the Bay, Point Blue Conservation Sciences, & TurnOut!
Volunteers will contribute to the restoration of the Novato Baylands, a mosaic of tidal marsh, seasonal wetland, and upland habitat located along San Pablo Bay. Activities will include planting native plants, mulching, and weeding. All the while, volunteers will learn more about how their efforts will increase biodiversity, benefit wildlife and local communities, and make the landscape more resilient to climate change. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to do some birdwatching and learn about the resident and migratory birds at the Novato Baylands.
This event is suitable for ages 7 and up (with guardian supervision for minors).
