Personally Identifiable Information
Newsletters, Donations and Other Point Blue Information
If you subscribe to a Point Blue e-newsletter, request additional information about Point Blue, submit a donation online, or participate in any of the other services on the Point Blue web site that require personal information, we may request your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address in order to respond to your inquiries. Point Blue may collect and store the information you choose to provide us to send you information about Point Blue and Point Blue partners and third parties from time to time. If you make a donation to Point Blue and elect to pay online, Point Blue will collect the necessary financial information. Point Blue collects and stores some information the user chooses to provide, including name, address and email address, to send users information about Point Blue and Point Blue partners and third parties from time to time. Point Blue will not disclose financial information except as necessary to fulfill users’ donation requests. Point Blue collects such financial information in a secure manner and discards such financial information after processing.
Application Registration
Some of Point Blue’s web applications require user registration when we collect personally identifiable information in order to receive an account for access. In order to use these tools, we require a user to provide a name and email address, as well as ask for a mailing address and telephone number. Registration is entirely voluntary.
